Pros

I worked in the St. Louis office. Beautiful space with lots of "in house" benefits such as a full gym, personal trainer, and massage therapist. Yearly raises and bonuses are excellent. I was very happy with my compensation while at Clayco.

Cons

I wonder if the little perks of working there that I mentioned above were put in place to cover the absolute dysfunction occurring. Hiring and firing is constant. I never felt like my job was secure due to the amount of people I saw leave. My department head was very unprofessional and gave me little training from the day I started and then expected me to know everything instantly. I can't speak for any department within the company that requires "on-site" work, however. If you're looking to go into Accounting, Recruitment or Administration at Clayco- run. You will be extremely stressed with no guidance or support from management.

Pros

Mr. Clark is an awesome founder of the company. You definitely get the chance for growth in the company. The Superintendents on your project will always have your back if you help them.

Cons

There isn’t very much of a decision on accusations that are made. Some of the project directors are racist and same for some of the project engineers. If they make a bogus accusation against you it will get you fired. If you know or are having relations with someone in a project director position and higher you will get anything you want.

nice place and people, we have a gym the culture is good.

Cons

Poor leadership and talent recognition. they are some bosses that have no idea about their people talents and you cannot grow in this environment. Although the company makes enough money, but they do not pay architects well. There is no reason behind salaries!!! Stay Away from this place
