If you aren’t face to face with upper management on the daily than you should look for something new before you even start with Clean Harbors. Communication is horrid at all levels. Everything is about politics here and you’d better land on the right side or this company will create your worst nightmare. Inflation is off the charts but you still aren’t getting the raise you were due for 8 years ago. When your boss gets burnt out and quotes than you might have a chance at a promotion with a 5% raise, but you’ll never keep up with the state of the world unless you work in the glass castle. Corporate does not value the field team.

Long hours for horrible pay Post false job descriptions to attract people to apply Employees that have worked there for 10 years are being paid the same as when they started Like prison without the chains They brag about safety being their number one priority however they had me take one of the certification tests that shows you know what you’re doing for 3 employees just to save the company money Management does not communicate People are in positions of power that have no idea what they’re doing and just shift the blame to newer employees when something goes wrong Will say 12 hour shifts, promise to go down to 10 hours but never do Inconsistent when it comes to punishments Play favorites Uneven work loads (newer employees do majority of the work) Promise career advancement and keep you in the same position
