-A lot of the departments have been decimated due to two large rounds of layoffs. This will make things stressful for those who remain as they not only have to take on more responsibility for no increase in pay, but they have to potentially put their own projects on hold as they attempt to right the ship. -They are not a tech-led company, although they may want to be one someday. They are still very much focused on the valuations side of the company which ended up being a bad bet for them as the mortgage industry flailed. It was frustrating working on new tech initiatives only to have almost the entire c-suite only really care about the valuations side of the company. They tried to be interested and excited about the tech side of things, but it was very clear where their main investment was. It felt like those in tech who got to work on the valuations side of things were treated better and with favoritism.
