      Pros

      I started as an associate and after 1 year was promoted to Software Engineer. I spent 3 years here and recently left to pursue another opportunity. I highly recommend this company. It's a great place to learn and grow, excellent managers and team leads. Lots of challenging work. There is lots of work to do and transit is a very interesting problem to solve. I joined at the entry level, and the amount that I learned in 3 years is mind blowing.

      Cons

      None. If you enter as an associate software engineer, you will spend the first year rotating between teams. In the moment, this may seem frustrating because you'll feel that right as your getting up to speed on a product you're being shifted onto something else, but you will gain the skills to rapidly ramp up on new technologies which is highly valuable.

      Thank you for your comments. Our Associate program, which focuses on hiring and developing entry-level college grads, is one of the most important programs in the company. The structure of the program allows for our Associates to really learn the company and our business from the ground up. The level of contributions from our Associates continues to astound us on a daily basis. I am happy to hear you enjoyed your journey with us.

      Pros

      The corporate company itself is rather nice. They really care about the employees.

      Cons

      Richmond office is small (<15 people). The people are not welcoming at all. They pretty much keep to themselves and don't want to be bothered. I prefer much larger office with diversity. Since they deal with lots of different hardware, the office is quite messy with stuff all over the place.

Coming from a smaller office (Richmond) it seems you did miss out on some of the cultural aspects of working for Clever.
