Turning a New Leaf

Pros

When ClickUp was growing, it had a fun culture that made you feel like you were part of something bigger. The last year or two had rocky moments as we were growing and adjusting, but it feels like we're finally turning a new leaf and focusing on employee programs and feedback. The pay is competitive and I feel that I'm growing my skills, even when it's hard.

Cons

There was a time when this score might not have been a 5 and that's because I care too much about what this place could be to not be honest. Recently though, I feel that same spirit I remember. I like seeing random employees shouted out in the general channel and seeing employees be so clearly recognized for the value that their contributions bring to ClickUp outside of a monthly segment in All Hands.

A pretty decent tech company

Pros

The employees at ClickUp are so talented and extremely smart people. The people really make this company great. Pay is pretty competitive in the tech industry and benefits have continuously gotten better. The company size is great too because it’s still small enough where each person can make an impact on their teams/ecosystem. We lost really great people during a recent RIF which is hard to get used to, but the severance package given was much better than I’ve seen before .

Cons

CU is behind in diversity - which is typically in a start up but needs to be a priority moving forward. Exec team isn’t super aligned, it’s sort of politics driven.
