Really working on getting there

Pros

There are really really amazing people here. We hire really well, and it really makes it feel like a family in my opinion. It is hard to meet someone you don't enjoy except for maybe the exception of one or two. The pay is really competitive for the market, and there is a lot of room to make an impact since the company is still young. There is a new, more clear path with our new CRO - he has a much more clear future carved out for the team which helps. We had recent layoffs which I can see some of these recent reviews are from those affected - and as much as it sucks, it is something that just happens at tech companies during a recession. Not saying it's necessarily very fair, but ClickUp did offer them really good severance packages with 3 months full pay and full insurance for 6 months.

Cons

There is a bit of a lack of communication and alignment with the e-staff, and sometimes it can feel a bit male-dominated. There should be more cross-functional relationships as sales and product marketing need more alignment to really help us get where we want to go!

Pros

Good pay and benefits and nice product despite the massive complexities

Cons

This place has been a disaster since day one. Awful management and terrible leadership from top. They hired a lot of smart people and blame them for their hacky product. Most people are just waiting for the market to pick up again and leave. The grass IS greener on the other side for sure.

Pros

I have the pleasure of working alongside some wonderful colleagues, and the office offers fantastic views.

Cons

The CEO ( Zeb, not even his real name) draws inspiration from Elon Musk and his leadership style, which may appeal to those who admire Elon's approach. However, it's essential to consider the overall company culture and policies. Thumbs down. Tommy has been mentioned in previous reviews, and concerns about his behavior are valid. It's crucial to maintain a respectful and professional work environment for everyone. He has been known to engage in inappropriate behavior with subordinates, and brag about it, which is concerning. A first time CRO.... Will has made significant changes within the sales organization, including hiring many personal connections. A more transparent approach to team-building and advancement would have been better. All religious, white males are welcomed here. Best of luck to the few women we have left. Do not attempt to challenge him or his leadership/ideas in any way, it will not end well for you. Sam's management style has been criticized, and there is room for improvement in fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere for the sales team. He has faced challenges in gaining trust and popularity. He has neither from his reps, and you almost pity him because no one likes him. No one is safe from his wrath, which was apparent after the last round of layoffs. Independent thinkers may find it challenging to thrive in this environment, as the company tends to discourage any thoughts that differ from their own. Our quotas are unrealistic and not sustainable, which leads to excessive working hours with no proper compensation. Very few individuals are hitting and it is exhausting watching the dashboards. The only good thing is that no one on my team is hitting, so we are in it together. Balancing leads among the sales reps requires reevaluation to ensure fairness and equal opportunities for success. Some of us have gone weeks without a single ELT while others have them flooding in. Diversity and inclusion should be priorities, and efforts to create a more diverse workforce should be taken seriously. Product stability should be a priority, with a focus on enhancing performance, especially with larger user loads. Communication about layoffs and policy changes should be handled more respectfully and transparently to avoid misunderstandings and discontent.
