• Competitive Market: Competition from other custom closet companies with aggressive discount strategies, retailers offering lower-cost alternatives and DIY solutions challenge pricing and market share.
• Opportunities for Growth: Pathways for career advancement not defined for designers and other franchise roles/opportunities not “advertised” or posted, internally.
• Fast Paced/Autonomous Environment: Juggling project management and meeting sales targets can occasionally feel stressful. You must be self-motivated, exercise time management and be a go-getter to get the most out of your work week.
• Custom Software: There’s a learning curve with the company CAD program. But once you get it, you’re equipped to design and price a custom space right in a client’s home during the initial consultation meeting (with manager back-up, when needed).
• Employee Expenses: Designers do not get a company-issued laptop (purchase/use your own) and we’re responsible for paying for gas and tolls with no stipend.
• No Paid Time Off: No holiday pay, no pay for sick/personal/vacation time.
