      Good Pay, Good People, Good Benefits, Flexible Work Hours.

      Cons

      Executive Leadership team does not act in the best interest of their employees or customers. They care more about making money than the wellbeing of their employees and customers. Absolutely no funding for improved systems and tools that are necessary to get the job done. Forced to use systems and tools that are broken and basically adopt time consuming 'work-arounds' as new the process for completing tasks.

      The technology. That and a few great people who still remain in the company are the only reasons why all is not lost for Cloudera.

      Cons

      After losing a lot of time and very talented employees in the aftermath of a chaotic merger with Hortonworks, Cloudera’s racing against time as well as bigger rivals with deeper pockets in a desperate bid to capture the market. It’s taken them ages to arrive at a product strategy and that’s still rough at the edges. To execute against that strategy, they’re now rolling out newer releases and flavors of their flagship product at a frenzied pace that’s clearly not working for anyone.
