Pros

I've worked for several start-ups over the last 10 years and CoSchedule is unlike any other place I've been...it's filled with genuine, smart, and humble folks...who work hard, play hard, and have a healthy perspective on life. My position has morphed so much in the last 2 years and I'm continuously learning something new. And I love how strategic CoSchedule is about employee development. With 90 day and yearly reviews as well as weekly 1 to 1 with your boss -- there's never a moment where you'll feel unheard or seen as just another employee.

Cons

Sometimes the "open office" concept can make it difficult to concentrate. However...if you really need it, there are areas in the office for more quiet concentration.

Pros

In my past job, I felt like a cog. The outcome of the work was what I created, not the results the actual work produced. CoSchedule is the complete opposite. It's data-driven, it's meaningful, it's helpful, and it's a ton of fun. The work itself is one of the most rewarding things I've ever had the chance to experience. And the team is amazing. When you're around tons of talented and ambitious people, it makes you want to deliver the best every day (because that's what you know they do, too). Not only that, we're all friends, too. We grab tacos + beers at Dempsey's on Wednesdays, hang out on the softball team (go Calendars!) on Thursdays, and see each other on the weekends all the time. I've been really thankful to have become close friends with coworkers, which I've never had that kind of opportunity before. CoSchedule is a lot more than a 9-5. It's meaningful, even beyond the work. They've given me a lot of opportunities to grow, and I'll always appreciate that. Anyway. I love what I do, and I get to do it everyday. That's pretty amazing.

Cons

It's sad when you miss the Bratwurst Blowout or Christmas party. :/

Pros

Flexible schedule, fun environment. Lots to learn and great experience to gain. Work parties are fun! Staff is generally really cool to work with and hang out with.

Cons

Unclear expectations. Fair amount of micro-managing. Hard to get those above you to really hear you. Promises not delivered on.
