Pros

Some helpful co-workers. Some partners are personable and all are very knowledgeable.

Cons

No policies, cutthroat environment, management does not want to provide training, lack of any direction, hiring & firing, no leadership, sub-par benefits, HUGE emphasis on saving a dollar!

The Boston office is UNBELIEVABLY Heartless and Dysfunctional!

Pros

SOME of the people were great to work with. Good Partners. Wish they could get along. Good community service efforts.

Cons

So much urgency to hire, and then fire every year! Always promises to ease up for vacations for the summers after busy season, but THIS firm NEVER follows through! Bonuses are horrible- don't expect one! Firm only focuses on Affordable Housing....there was assurance that we would see more diversity in clients but haven't seen anything new happening! The office practice management department is overseen by the most incompetent buffoon, only spending money and playing with toys- desperate for popularity and highly disruptive.

It's Public Accounting.... but

Pros

Mostly good people Better than commuting into DC Pretty good resources Balance between big and small firm feel

Cons

Recruiters will brag about work-life balance at CohnReznick. That is a lie. It's public accounting at the 10th largest such firm in the country. You will work 60-70+ hours a week during busy times and around client deadlines. Health benefits are terrible. Dental even worse. You will be underpaid here - the pay is significantly lower than other, similar firms Staffing issues galore due to mass exoduses, probably due to the above Mixed messages and unclear visions/expectations galore Terrible office/team favoritism - worse than normal amounts
