Good experience but improvements to operational structure and support on national level would help.
Pros
Speaking to national level (US) operations only. Colliers has a lot of executives who care a lot and try really hard to do what's best for the company and its employees. There is a good amount of opportunity to move up in the company and make lateral movements. Benefits are about average. Compared to other top international CRE firms, Colliers has a more innovative culture and mentality. The company is not afraid to make significant changes, even if the intended result takes a while to materialize. Tries to provide a coherent national brand presence, culture, and messaging while balancing local brokers' need for independence and market customization; but as is the case across the industry, this can be difficult to achieve across the board. Lots of good people at Colliers.
Cons
Work hours can be long and expectations high. Like other large, national/international companies, despite some of the best intentions, change can sometimes come slowly and result in more issues at first than solutions. No 401K matching - only discretionary company contributions capped at an annual max.
