It looks good on your resume. Helped me transition to a new company.

Cons

Colliers becomes your family - you will NOT see or be able to spend time with your family. This is highly frowned upon. PTO is something you take but you will be required to work about 4 hours for every day of PTO you take. For instance, take a day and be charged with 8 hours of PTO but you will end up logging in and working for at least 4 hours. Holidays (hahaha) same thing. There is no SINCERE appreciation. You work on your PTO and holidays and work 10 -12 hour days and then get called out for not doing something. Like I said no one cares about the employees or the middle managers - they just care about the $$$.

Pros

The word "enterprising" is often used within Colliers, as it clearly depicts who we are! Since I started at Colliers earlier this year, I have felt empowered to make quick, informed decisions, and it is evident that speed matters here. This is also a place where people constantly collaborate. Collaboration speeds things up and really fast-tracks progress on initiatives at Colliers, unlike some organizations where this can slow things down.

Cons

Overall, I have been very happy with my decision to join Colliers. The area that I think we should continue to shape up are our diversity and inclusion practices (I see this as a struggle for the CRE industry, and not Colliers alone!)
