Pros

Great discounts, benefits, competitive pay, decent work-life balance. Willing to provide training and pay for certifications. Onsite gym and cafe (though cafe is limited and the gym hardly had any equipment).

Cons

- Very political environment, most people have the poor attitude when you ask for help outside their scope of work. - Slow to implement anything or programs were band-aid patched to work (some for years) - Teams constantly pushing back on each other with passive aggressive behaviors. - All work was treated with a "reactive" attitude instead of having a clear insight on what managers wanted. - Very little ability to move within the company. - Too many layers in management which lead to "telephone" style project requirements (half of the time project requirements were different from what was asked for). - Teams are too small for the load of work asked to work on - No stock option

Pros

The work load was manageable- not too little to feel like we weren't accomplishing anything but not so much that the job felt overwhelming. As a manager I was not asked to work more than 40 hours per week. If I was willing to relocate there seemed to be some room for growth.

Cons

Retail wages are way too low for both lower level management and associates. The company kept tightening payroll to keep maintain the bottom line if sales weren't increasing the way they wanted, but this meant that we couldn't do essential duties because there was frequently only one manager and one staff person at a time. When I started there was a generous system of carrots and bonuses but when more store kept earning the benefits they would change the rules making it harder to earn them. It felt really terrible having to tell my store staff that even though they were exceeding expectations, corporate had moved the finish line and now they wouldn't see a benefit.

Pros

There where good people to work with until they cut back on hours and full time. There are honestly no good reasons to work for this company.

Cons

Management is unfair and plays favorites, they need to better understand and treat employees with more respect.
