Pros

Good pay. Decent working conditions, good retirement benefits, vacation time length. Good Training of employees and managers. They take care of you if you are injured on the job. Ability to move into other jobs.

Cons

Some managers are awful. FORCE you to retire at age 55- so not a good place if you are older if you start. Don't tell you that you MUST retire by age 55. Don't tell you about storm duty. Work- life balance is a term management does not understand. Will eliminate a whole department without warning ( seen this twice now)! Lots of hidden management rules... lack of transparency.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Still offer a pension plus a 401k

Cons

Company culture needs to get used to. They are big into being a great place for minorities and women. They tend to focus on promoting minorities and women just because they are women and minorities, not because they are better qualified for the job.
