Pros

Some hybrid positions. Depending on manager, you get a lot of support if you need. Depending on position, there is opportunity for OT. Some retention and hiring bonus if applicable.

Cons

Continually losing benefits…Pension, Cash Balance, retirement health benefits all taken away in the past few years. Work/life balance isn’t great because you are able to be hybrid and can be taken advantage of. Taking sick time is frowned upon. High turnover in every departmwnt

Pros

Great pay and benefits. Flexible use of PTO and great people for the most part.. but every job has its great workers and poor workers. ComEd has a mix mostly Good.

Cons

No one mentioned storm duty upon hire which was HR and my managers responsibility. Now I am stuck in another job that I did not sign up for. Note to HR and managers of ComEd tell your new employees about storm duty. Thanks.

Pros

Great pay and honestly that's it . Great co workers and a nice working space. They feed you if you have to stay 16 hours on storm duty

Cons

Unorganized chaotic never can get a straight answer on anything. Management sucks a company of this magnitude using outdated software. Everyone wants to point fingers when something happens but we are not adequately trained. Part time doesn't get paid time off and you also have to choose between medical or vision and dental. Upgrading to full time is based off seniority currently been part time for about 3 years.
