Pros

Good compensation and better than average benefits.

Cons

Lack of promotion opportunities. Politics. Unqualified people in management because they are friends and/or political contacts of the COO. Managers hassle you when you want to take the paid time off that you are entitled to.

Pros

-Competitive pay with bonus structure -Employee Stock Purchase Program & 401k match -Comprehensive insurance -Emphasis and programs dedicated to advancing professional development -Flexible work environment -Strong DEI initiatives

Cons

-Lots of turnover, leaving groups with newer staff. Training is not always prioritized -Leadership is transitioning towards bringing staff into office -Year to year increases are low and restricted to HR -While pay is competitive when entering Comed, the small year to year increases do not allow for much pay growth -Company is experiencing record profits, while the rank and file receive back packs and tumblers. Just give us a pay raise

Pros

Work from home, for now... Work not going anywhere. Might be recession proof? Probably not though. Learning and experience to be had.

Cons

Experienced engineers paid 30% less than peers in the industry. Why? Because they can. Management is a revolving door, less and less experience. Engineering is a revolving door, less and less experience. Good people leave because the PAY SUCKS. Nothing will change until Illinois has rolling brownouts. Otherwise, the people upstairs could give less of a ....
