Pros

I have been a licensed agent for almost 10 years. I have made great money before joining Combined 6 months ago. I must say that with Combined I am making great money but also I have a great up line. We have the best training each and every week. We have Our upline is fully dedicated to seeing each of us meet our goals. There is always some type of incentive going on which your rewarded with more than just a paycheck. It's a family oriented type of vibe with us. After trying out other companies I can truly say I have found the one I want to retire from.

Cons

This may be cons for others but not for me. You have to be dedicated to working full time hours. You have to be accountable for your work days and hours. You must report activity to your manager daily. So basically if your not looking to be 100% committed this isn't the place for you and you will not survive or make any money.

Thank you for sharing this positive review! We really appreciate hearing from our current employees, and we are thrilled to hear from an experienced insurance sales agent that Combined stands out among the others as being the best for you. We know how important it is for teams to have ongoing training and great management, and we are pleased to hear that your manager is dedicated to seeing each one of you make your goals. We offer our agents a virtually unlimited income potential based on the volume of their sales, and as you mentioned, we supplement that with bonuses, awards, and other incentives throughout the year. Hard work and commitment pay off at Combined, and we thank you for sharing an accurate portrayal of what it takes. We wish you all the best in your career here with us!

Pros

Fast paced, unlimited earning potential, intensive training, and opportunities for raises and promotions.

Cons

Sometimes you'll go a couple weeks that are really slow, but the larger paychecks make up for it. No base salary.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this positive and realistic review! We especially appreciate hearing from our current employees. As you mentioned, a sales career with us starts with “intensive training” during which we spend a week in the home office preparing agents for success. Once in the field, agents have control over their own schedule, and as you mentioned, this can be an exciting and “fast paced” career. Our sales agents have a potentially unlimited income potential and are promoted based on their merits. We wish you all the best in your career here with us!

Pros

I've enjoyed working at Combined primarily because of it's culture and the career progression opportunities I've been afforded. Combined and the rest of the Chubb familiy embrace a meritocratic mindset: you will be rewarded if you perform well. As an employee, it is encouraging to know that a company will recoginize your hard work. Additionally, Combined is a company that promotes learning. The leadership team has an "open door" policy that encourages employees to ask questions. Combined also does a great job of promoting work/life balance. Whether it's through office events (e.g. ice cream social, bbq, holiday party) or community engagment, Combined has shown that they value what employees do outside of their office/cubicles. The leadership team here is dynamic and really in-tune to consumer and industry trends. I believe they have a good short term and long term strategic vision for the company. I've seen a cultural shift (for the better) when the new leadership came on board in 2012. I see great things for Combined in the future.

Cons

Benefits (i.e. salaries) are below market value
