Pros

Great training, it's nice when the company has a lot of money invested in you. After the initial two week "sales camp" you are also continually trained and groomed for advancement as you go.

Cons

"Assembly line" style of training, while it is efficient, it doesn't cater to the individual at all. But when you are training so many new agents a week, it would be unrealistic to expect them to cater to each individual.

Pros

Excellent sales training, positive company atmosphere, 13 week start pay, employee benefits, W2 tax advantages, good bonus structure, trip incentives, easy to advance. Excellent limited product line at low prices. This is a good position for "new" to insurance or Direct Sales agents.

Cons

Very low commission, high turn-over, over worked leads, very time consuming to make a good paycheck. Health benefits at 6 months, Dental in 1 year. Replacement is NOT allowed in ANY circumstance. You WILL get fired for it. Limited product lines, Book of Business belongs to them, not you. You leave Combined the same way you came in, with nothing. Old school mentality.
