A romance that ends up not so great

Good pay. Remote work. Very good people to work with. Considering this is a remote position.

Cons

Outdated sales management. Unrealistic expectations. Lack of innovation. Rigid and slow decision making process. No market presence. Lack of transparency in the recruiting process.

Horrible training and environment

Decent benefits and insurance. Pay isn’t to shabby either.

Cons

Training is horrible. The systems they use are outdated and fragmented. Management pushes sales and can seem hostile at times. Processes and procedures are not clearly explained to new employees, so I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to do things until I got talked to for doing them. Also, universal banking needs some tweaking. You literally have to jump out of your chair and run to the door at some branches to greet the customers at the door, which can be impossible at times. Design or remodel your branches for universal banking if you want it done that way.

We’re glad you were pleased with the Total Rewards package at Commerce, we put a lot of work into making sure our employees are rewarded for all the hard work they do. We are disappointed to see that you did not receive the training you needed to be successful in your role. That is not the experience we want our new hires to have and we will take it under advisement to improve in the future. The universal banking model is constantly being fine-tuned and remodeling our older branches is a part of that overall plan.
