      It's taken a steep decline in the last 6 months.

      Pros

      Slightly better pay than surrounding area centers.

      Cons

      Patient care is no longer a priority. Upper management is constantly trying to force unsafe ratios to save a few dollars. Zero effort for nurse retention. Too many new-grad nurses are being utilized for staffing. Baby nurses are training baby nurses. It is unsafe.

      Things need to change in IT top down

      Pros

      Remote positions. Most of the VP levels and above are pretty down to earth. The leadership outside of IT did not allow the leader to continue to take advantage.

      Cons

      Our CIDO just resigned with one week notice. She brought probably 60-70 percent of the Senior IT Leadership. Several have alluded these leaders did not have any healthcare background. The came from retail space. There are grave budget issues, caused by these leaders. The one at the top is leaving a very large mess. All we can do is hope the next leader reads what employees doing the work think. Hoping to see we go back to our roots, healthcare and our mission. Get rid of everyone brought in. We need a re-do. There are still many of us pre-merger that believe in this company.

      Pros

      Not too many pros to be honest. The merger really went down the drain.

      Cons

      No staff parking (not even somewhere you can pay to park. HUGE Disconnect from higher ups and it’s concerning and sad. No raises given easily. 2022 is the third year with no raises. I’m looking elsewhere and so is everyone else. The inability to retain staff from this hospital is mind blowing.
