Good benefits, families really admire the work we do.

Cons

The pay was abysmal at best. I got paid 13.50 to give people meds and when staffing got low, management didn’t want to work on the floor with us, they would force the RMAs to pass their meds and work the floor at the same time. Absolutely dangerous and makes it so easy to make med errors. I left to protect my license. The communication was nonexistent and staff were blamed for things outside of our fault.

Competitive pay, decent benefits package, good camaraderie among employees, sweet residents. For the most part, staff works really hard meeting our residents needs, everything from dietary preferences to activities , to personal care, is tailored, as much as possible, to individual residents. It is wonderful knowing you are helping someone achieve their best quality of life.

Cons

There never seems to be enough staff for the expected workload. Poor communication between departments. Poor communication from one shift to the next.
