      Amazing work but toxic culture

      1. Company has great potential 2. Work is amazing. You get to learn a lot. 3. flexible work hours and unlimited time off policy for engineering.

      Cons

      1. Lack of proper leadership. 2. No proper planning 3. No proper communication between teams and between senior management and engineers. 4. Many potential and hard working employees' hard work are not recognized and overshadowed due to office politics. 5. Salary and benefits is not so good when compared to market standards. 6. Lack of proper work culture and respect to fellow employees. 8. Work life balance is in the extremes. Sometimes people have no work and sometimes people work on the weekends. 9. Favoritism. 10. Too many oscillations in the thought process.

      simpana is a great product, talented group of developers and system engineers,

      absolutely no loyalty, turnover is very highj amongst seasoned, experienced sales people; management has an unrealistic view of the importance of backup/archive & data management, contrary to what commvault professes data management is not critical to most IT organizations and is certainly not front of mind to most C level or director level personnel.

      Was a good company to work for prior to the current CEO

      If you are over 55, keep your head on a swivel and watch your back. How does a company justify removing seasoned and very knowledgeable people that drove the growth of the company for "x" of years and also significantly over plan for the year. This is a CEO directive and his alone. He is pathetic and is doing the Tucci play book from EMC. I feel sorry for the CEO as he is without a soul and only he knows his evil motivations. What a pathetic human.
