Pros

Compass is full of some fantastic people who truly care about each other and the company. Of all places where I have worked, I have never been with a more passionate and compassionate group of people. Employees are encouraged to direct the mission and direction of the company and all take great pride in doing so. I would highly recommend Compass as a great place to work!

Cons

As with many fast pace, growing companies, it can be difficult to keep up with new hires and people joining the company.

Pros

When was the last time you worked with a company that made you work experience all about you? At Compass I'm not just a broker, I'm the client. The Team environment is something I've never seen at any other company. My referral network is at an ALL-TIME HIGH!

Cons

Our company constantly under fire from the media and other competitors for no reason.

Pros

An incredible collection of brilliant minds from all over the world, and with a wide variety of expertise. Some have started and sold companies, many bring valuable experience from other successful companies, all are working together to take Compass to the next level. An amazing culture that encourages everyone to be their authentic selves. We eat together, we party together, we play video games together... oh and we work together! Free lunch AND dinner (and snacks, and cold brew, and cold brewskis)! Dog-friendly offices! Please bring your dog. Excellent health benefits, gym reimbursement. As new projects and products get slated for development, there are always opportunities to join a new team, learn new technologies, and get a whole new experience within the company. Our CEO believes in this company and embodies our culture more than anyone -- he's available and listening. Text him any time of the day, he will always respond. He wants to hear what you think can make this company better. He wants to be challenged. Our CTO has done this at scale at Amazon and Microsoft and has catalyzed the engineering team's growth, expanded the vision for what we think is possible, and instilled best practices a company of our size and caliber needs in order to build world-class software. Our CFO has been scrutinizing startup financials for years in the VC world, and she hasn't stopped at Compass. A real badass. The leadership team, in general, seems to be doing their best to do right by everyone, and are very responsive to criticism and feedback. This is an opportunity to put your fingerprint on a company that is just getting started and is moving fast.

Cons

With a company growing as quickly as this one, there are bound to be changes in processes and restructuring while the organization figures out what works best. If you're uncomfortable with change, this might cause alarm, but it's natural and it means we are growing.
