Pros

ALL the training and certs you can dream of, no other company I've worked for will give you this much training. There is a lot to get to know and you work on just about any and everything. The training is worth a young person who really is into IT, They pay for the Cert test and have some really Great quality Tech support guys so you don't feel like your out there by your self.

Cons

Pay and promotions, We service a wide variety of customers and the SOW for each varies and sometimes gets confusing.

Pros

I received a two-week severance package, after I was "released" from the contract they had with a large, hardware retailer (I was a full-time, W-2 employee, of CompuCom), but I received no warning, whatsoever, of my "involuntary departure," which came as a TOTAL surprise to me!

Cons

Not once, in nearly 2 and 1/2 years, did I ever meet my supervisor, in person! Also, most of my fellow technicians, in our area, felt he was totally incompetent, which proved to be the case (he is also no longer with the company, to the best of my knowledge)! Also, I received NO raise or bonus, of any kind, after working for them (on this contract) for more than two years, even though I received numerous accolades, from various managers at the retail stores I serviced!

Pros

Very challenging work. A variety of jobs to perform. If you enjoy driving this job will put you in the drivers seat.

Cons

No advancement potential. Salary is on the low side. Managements only interest are the numbers. The process and payroll documentation was extensive which caused payroll delays and hours of unpaid overtime just to keep up. Not enough time to upgrade your skill set.
