Pros

Stable company with good opportunities to grow, if you work hard. GSD staff are friendly. Salaries are market related.

Cons

People are micromanaged and only the "in crowd" know what is going on. There are is no link between GIO and GSD. GIO staff think that they are better than everyone else working at CC. Management are sly and underhanded and the guys that do the most work are rewarded with more hard work. Management are all old and have old-school views on how the company should be run.

Very people focused and a lot of work goes into ensuring that all departments work collaboratively as possible to ensure effective customer services and products are achievable, not only for external but also for internal customers!

Cons

Head count per line manager doesn't always stay within guide lines.

- staff & management are lovely and want to do a good job, very helpful - staff are willing to learn & pass on their knowledge - very flexible working arrangements - very knowledgeable - great opportunities to work in a variety of organisations - great "family" feel In short - the pros out way the cons - if you want an organisation that has a human feel. They are going in the right direction.

Cons

- some areas have to do long hours due availability of resource - some management need training in objective setting eg SMART - seems to be who you know to get promotion - performance seems to be based on ensuring you meet management expectations, teams are left to do their own thing
