Pros

CC is the proverbial gorilla in the UK channel - if you want to be involved in some of the biggest business deals that there are to be done in the UK, you'll likely end up here in your career at some point. There are some good people across the organisation, particularly in the vendor management teams, but there is a real feeling of having to play the corporate fiddle to feel included in the organisation. I'd say pay is in the middle end of the market, but make sure you get a locked down target very early in the year, and clarity over your commissions schedule or it becomes a moving part of your plan very quickly especially if your face doesn't fit.

Cons

I wouldn't say people are particularly empowered to do their job - their is a CC way of doing things and if you try to be innovative or challenge the norm, you won't last long and will quickly be seen as a nuisance or outcast. The cliquey dinosaurs in Senior Management have all become very wealthy over the years doing things their way, and so don't expect a modern tech company culture or benefits.

Pros

Constantly changing and developing. A real innovator in the world of managed services. Empowered to drive and introduce change.

Cons

Massively underresourced. Continual drive to do more with less. Bit cliquey. Yes men in management.

Pros

Easy to get to work for the company, good for experience.

Cons

I'll give you my point of view, I have been working for the company for over a year and a half, the company promises to make you permanent after a year, that's not true! Low pay, the company works with Hays (recruitment agency) I accepted the job for 18000 net in reality you will end up getting just under 15.500 as the agency detracts a part of your payslip to cover your sick days and holidays, they should inform people properly when offering the job. This summer I had my holidays cancelled less then a week prior to the flight, I booked my annual leave months before but the company decided to cancel them anyways giving the excuse that they are expecting a busy time and need max availability. Last month I had a cold and had to go home due to the fact that I felt particularly ill, I contacted the manager asking to have the permission to leave, manager said he was busy and suggested me to stay as leaving would have looked bad in my records, I thought that was a unfair way to deal with an employee that is unwell, that only helps spreading the disease in the office in my own opinion so I decided to leave anyways even if the manager was not happy at all. Ultimately some of the managers appear to be very hostile to the employees or at least the managers of the department I work in and that's not helping in making the employees more productive.
