Pros

Fantastic business management systems and very clear strategy

Cons

You, will work; it is ultra competitive and ruthless. Stick a bit white socks and hardware - although changing slowly. Mike Norris leads from the front in this regard and struggles to shake off the barrow made good aura. However, he is highly successful.

Pros

Focused on sales and winning business

Cons

No enhanced Maternity Pay, there are no incentives for woman to either stay working for CC or to return after Maternity Leave. It is telling that they offer enhanced Paternity pay but not Maternity pay. CC's competitors have all started looking into this and are now offering better packages for woman however CC is once again behind the trend

Pros

For Barcelona it is actually one of the better call centers in the city to work for, which is more of a reflection on the low standards in the city.

Cons

As I have found out once you sign the contract they will do what they want with you regardless of how it affects you. I took the job as they opened a new office near my house. To do this I turned down a better paid position further away to cut down on travel time. 18 months after starting they moved the whole contract to the old run down building miles away so they could put a new project in the new building because they wanted the shiny new offices to help draw in a lot of new staff they had to hire. I was working 24/7 shifts which involved working weekends and nights but offered a lot of free time in between. Computacenter then took on extra business and changed everyones working conditions to work double the nights and double the weekends (from 15 a year to 30). We tried to oppose the changes but Computacenter pretended to address our concerns and then went ahead anyway and implemented the change in working conditions. Promotion is almost impossible they just hire people, work them to the bone and then spit them out. The only people in three years that I saw get promoted in any meaninful way were friends of management. Computacenter puts on a good front but behind the smile it's just another sweatshop call center
