      Great Opportunity to Grow as a Professional and Person

      Pros

      Conductor brands itself as a people-first company and during my tenure there, it lived up to it. It's an environment that helps you grow as a professional and a person. Conductor gave me the opportunity to pursue creative solutions to challenges, engage with interesting and brilliant folks, all the while knowing that they care about you. I'd happily recommend anyone seeking something like that to do so at Conductor.

      Cons

      As is with most start-ups, I felt the ebbs and flow of being burnt out at Conductor. I will say, though, that everyone is willing to lend a supporting hand during the troughs of feeling overworked or under-resourced. So guess you can see a bit of positive in a seemingly common feeling within the industry.

      Pros

      The people you work with and for are great. They are all very very friendly and kind hearted people who know what they are doing. There’s a lot of growth within the company which is nice to see. The office is also very clean and not a place to go into 3 days a week

      Cons

      A lot of micromanagement. I assume from all the change that constantly goes on within the company. There needs to be a bit more trust from management

      Nice individual contributors Work here to get experience and then leave for greener pastures (literally anywhere else) Only people that stay long-term are the ones that don't really care about making it a better place

      Cons

      Below-market pay Apathy from management "People first" is their little mantra but don't buy it for a second
