Great access to gain experience in IT, as well as the national IT channel. Opportunities to work across many disciplines including engineering, technical product and business development, sales, customer service, engineering, marketing, project management and business.

Cons

Organizational silos and difficulty migrating off legacy workflows and systems.

Thank you for your review on Glassdoor. As you stated we offer the opportunity to work in a Company that is diverse in its product offerings including emerging technologies. While we agree it is a good place to start one’s career, many employees have chosen to make a career at Connection with our high internal promotion rates and our long employee tenure. We do recognize that we can work to improve organizational silos and improve our systems as you suggest. There are many programs underway to improve our systems and we have had some recent organizational changes we hope to help us remove silos.

Entry level foot in the door to technology world

With this job you get the ability to network well with other companies like HP, Dell, Apple, etc which provides invaluable sales experience

Cons

The company is old fashioned and not very transparent. They do not allow work at home privileges for all employees so it is frustrating during snow storms because they also do not close. They also have a 18 month non compete rule

While not every role is conducive to working remotely, we continue to evaluate which roles can be considered for remote work as our business transforms. Your comment about staggering work hours to better service West Coast customers will be evaluated. We may be able to make some adjustment to your schedule if the West Coast is part of your territory. We recommend reaching out to your Site Director directly to discuss that schedule.
