We feel PC Connection has a great atmosphere in our all of our offices, including Connecticut. Management welcomes and encourages feedback of any kind, at any time – it’s a valuable means of communication and our team strives to keep that line of interaction open and honest. We want Management fully engaged with our teams, whether on location or remote. Thank you for your review, we will make the Management team aware of your comment.

Pros

Easy company to get into. Great place to start in the corporate environment.

Cons

It's a dial and smile place with lots of cold calling and little lead generation.

PC Connection has invested and will continue to invest in tools to improve our lead generation process. We have many success stories of inside sales employees who have built a significant book of business and earned commissions that are far superior to other companies in our labor markets where we compete for talent. Many employees also appreciate the fact that they can earn exceptional income with no overnight travel or weekends while enjoying numerous perks.

Pros

Good base salary, great training, (mostly) friendly co-workers, good atmosphere, lots of free lunches and free goodies from vendors.

Cons

One of the team managers is new, and the ego is easily bruised. Also seems insecure because does not like team members getting help from anyone else. Put us on the phones way too early. Make new AMs work old accounts that are long dead.

Thank you for sharing your experience in our Sales office in Itasca, Illinois. We are glad that the compensation programs, the work environment, and perks are well received. We concur that a good way to learn how to be successful in Sales is to learn from those who have already had success. Therefore, ego should never get in the way of us winning against our competition. Your Sales Manager’s success is also ensured by you having success. We certainly can look into this further. In all likelihood, your Sales Manager worked in Sales as an individual contributor, had past success, and can pass on good ideas for you to have a successful career. Thank you again for sharing your feedback with us.
