Connecture reviews

The company burns out employees at times. I have seen time and time again, where people are leaving due to the work-load, and the company does not hire a replacement, rather shifting work to others already burdened. Another concern is that there are no definable incentive plans or traceable MBOs. All bonuses are at the "discretion of the company" and performing well on reviews guarantees nothing. Reviews tend to be very subjective and based off of a few core categories that are not fact based, but perception based.

The company has been sliding downhill for the past year. The financials are terrible. Morale is the lowest it's ever been. Jeff Surges says one thing (We're doing great!) and then does another thing (lays off a bunch of people and closes more offices) all while trying to build up a shiny new office in Chicago to convince clients that we're legit (sad thing is...we ARE legit...but we don't need a showy office to prove that, especially at the expense of other people's jobs). He also has come right out in our employee meetings and instructed us to go write positive things on Glassdoor to boost his ratings. Sorry Jeff, that's not how this works. But I'm assuming he doesn't actually care about all of this because he probably has a golden parachute waiting for him if he can't make this company profitable. That's the standard MO for most CEOs in the health insurance industry.
