      Toxic Environment

      Can't think of any pros except ESOP

      Cons

      Hostile takeover adds to the toxic environment. Every week more of the original teams are cast aside for the kool aid drinking out of towners. The leaders of the NY office are not qualified and will have the same fate once the "family" figures out they are not leaders.

      A place to build a career, not just another job

      Pros

      Passionate people giving their all every day. You and your project team become a tight group. The company actively seeks out assertive self-starters so everyone on the team is hard-working and no one is free-loading. As a woman, I have found nothing but support from my coworkers. This is the first job that I've had where I can see a full career path within the company, no need to change companies in order to take the next step.

      Cons

      The only thing is that it can be hard to get to know people outside your immediate team. We get to know the people we work with directly so well, it can seem strange to not know everything about everyone else's lives! However, we do come together regularly (at least monthly) to try to make the gap smaller and you can always ask a coworker who has worked with someone what that person's strengths and weaknesses are.
