Pros

Company rewards independent thinking and promotes growth and continuing education. It is the best work environment I have experienced in my career and it is the place for people with fire in the belly, a good work ethic, good personal ethics and a desire to achieve. I especially appreciate the opportunity to make decisions at the local level.

Cons

The only "con" is that I didn't find this company earlier in my career. I have previously worked for companies that didn't care about their employees and were management heavy.

Pros

I've been a Profit Center Manager with CED for almost 13 years. After working for another electrical distributor with a top down philosophy I've found CEDs model to be unique. I truly do get to run my profit center like it's my own business with someone else to do the tasks that don't directly relate to the customers. CED is a great place to work. I've been fortunate to hire some good people and have seen their standard of living change drastically due to power of profit sharing. If you work hard and work smart you will be successful at CED.

Cons

If you need constant direction or someone guiding your every move CED might not be a good fit for you.

Great opportunities to advance, fantastic employees, they will reward you for your hard work (profit sharing).

Cons

Plenty of work to do around here if you don't/are not willing want to work, find somewhere else to go.
