Pros

Fun environment, profit share based so you get a large bonus once a year depending on profits of last year.

Cons

Highly toxic financial environment. Any talk of salaries between employees is forbidden (even though it's illegal to prevent the open discussion of salaries), and discussing profit share amounts is grounds for firing. Many locations have a heavy nepotism presence, which makes is near impossible for non-family members to advance regardless of experience or skill.

Pros

All of the sales reps and management are really nice and down to earth guys. The company's profit sharing is promising and makes sure certain salaries do not overshadow others.

Cons

You have to work some of the harder positions in order to learn the materials first. Progression in the company is slow and depends on availability. Starting pay is not competitive. It is a warehouse, so it is a lot of heavy lifting and hot conditions.

Pros

I started out as an intern a year ago, then moved to an Accounts Payable Position and now have a management position within the company. CED finds talented people and works hard to hold on to them. As a recent graduate, it felt great to be set in a job right out of college.

Cons

As a woman in a male dominated industry, it can sometimes be hard to fit into the culture of the company. I see it as a challenge!
