Pros

Excellent pay and benefits for an entry-level position.

Cons

The management team leans heavily on the "good ol boys" hiring method. If you are not management's pet, there is zero opportunity to move up the ladder. The people in management should not be in management. Their improvement models are demoralizing and insulting. There is zero work life balance.

Pros

Great pay and interesting work

Cons

Culture is toxic, gossipy, and people are willing to destroy others to get ahead. A huge lack of diversity despite multiple DEI initiatives

Pros

Great compensation, solid benefits and overall a very flexible position from a work/life balance perspective(*). This place will push you to your limits and challenge you in ways you weren't expecting - depending how you handle it, this is a pro.

Cons

Over-burdened, high-stress job. A LOT of expectation and ownership is placed on you at this company (particularly in the engineering department). You are thrown into a lot of training at the start, but a good chunk of the core work you do is typically self taught overtime which is stressful. The company values their engineers, however, that value usually translates to unrealistic expectations and deadlines. (*)Work/life balance is a pro in a lot of senses, but when things go wrong at the plant, expect to be forced into shift work, night work and weekend work to address the issues. This extra time worked is not paid- however, they are generally good about allowing you to take some comp time, though it is unofficial. Corporate requests generally is a sore subject for workers at the plant. Amid stressful periods at the plant, expect to have random Corporate initiatives that will ultimately flood your workload and force you to reprioritize high-priority work. Time management is an extreme challenge at this company.
