Pros

Intelligent people around, good industry reputation, not too big to get buried in the hierarchy, and not too small to lose corporate support.

Cons

Few competitors in the area which would limit everyone's movability, famous Baltimore so stay within a few blocks, utility feeling, downtown traffic.

Pros

Fortune 150 company, dynamic industry, good opportunities to expand if you're in Baltimore, competitive bonus structure, many parts of the org have a small company feel where everyone knows everyone

Cons

limited opportunities outside of Baltimore, typical large company bureaucratic obstacles, heavy emphasis on relationship building sometimes to the detriment of actual performance, pay can be highly subjective and unequal among colleagues

Definitely not the old CNE!

Pros

The company is very flexible with your schedule and personal life. The vacation and benefits are better than other companies. For the most part, upper management has an open door policy. There is room for growth if you desire to move to other office locations.

Cons

The company is going through another one of its transitional periods and upper management doesn't seem to have it all put together. The company grew too quickly and unexpectedly. Upper management needs to do a better job of promoting the people who actually do the work. The sick policy has taken a toll for the worse, due to hiring an outside company to handle sick time.
