At Exelon we would get a free half day off before holidays, not here. It’s very much a put your head down and work all day culture, but management will pretend to be friendly and care. The first project I worked on the manager gave me no time or attention and then I got blamed when it wasn’t up to par. She didn’t even put up weekly meetings for us. Every manager also has different preferred templates and testing styles, so you could do really well in one project, and then carry over the same type of testing only to bomb the assignment. No consistency outside of ICFR work. They will also put you on projects that are not in your field of knowledge and then when you struggle give you a poor performance rating.
