Open PTO is designed to provide flexibility while ensuring we can meet customer commitments and that teams can plan coverage responsibly. The intent is to provide flexibility while also ensuring teams can plan appropriately and deliver for customers. Like many organizations, we periodically review how policies are being applied to reinforce consistent expectations around planning, coverage, and performance because fairness matters. When time off is not planned well or coverage isn’t maintained, it can place an uneven burden on teammates and impact delivery. We are actively working to improve communication and incorporate input from employees and leaders across the company. The company continues to use a balanced performance evaluation that rewards strong contribution and outcomes, makes expectations explicit, and treats people with fairness and respect — while still holding ourselves to high standards of delivery and collaboration. We appreciate candid feedback, and we remain committed to maintaining a strong culture; one that balances flexibility with accountability and treats high-performing teams fairly.
