Pros

decent pay and OT. bonus is available if you qualify for it. hours are hit or miss depending on the shift you are randomly assigned.

Cons

it's a stressful job on its own and having a whip happy boss does nothing to improve on that. not all of the supervisors are that way but mine is.

Pros

Leads and supervisors were very helpful, kind, and go out of their way to help. Long training period. Good benefits and fun co-workers.

Cons

Way too many rules (no spitting outside, no swearing around co-workers, sent home without pay if you pull out your phone). Strange closed-door meetings between supervisors on a daily basis. Promises made by managers never happened (mostly about implementing new things). Very strict attendance policies. Too much overtime (instead of just hiring the right amount of employees they force current staff to work on days off). Less than average pay and forced to meet quotas to get bonuses. Lots of conflicting information between departments.

Pros

Great coworkers, you get potlucks sometimes...you can do fun stuff around holidays? There really isn’t anything else I can say that is kind.

Cons

You have to meet a certain call requirement, if you don’t you get put on probation until it’s resolved. You have to be on the phone with customers for a minimum of 4-8 minutes, even if it is a call you have to transfer. If you have to many calls per month, you get in trouble. If you don’t have enough calls per month, you get in trouble. If you help the customer with their problem to quick, you get in trouble EVEN THOUGH YOU HELPED THEM and you were SUCCESSFUL at helping them. If you don’t get a certain amount of Sales, you get in trouble. They do not care if you are sick, if a family member dies, or if your car breaks down. They DO NOT care. You will lose your job because of their strict attendance rules. You’re in College and are just working this job for the money? Good luck getting a schedule that will work around your college schedule! You have to work your life schedule around Consumer Cellulars schedule.
