Training is a laugh

Pros

I took the job because of the pay seemed like a good place to work. Pay is ok. Think it should be better.

Cons

I’m not even though training and I’ve already thinking of looking for something else. HR staff is unprofessional and doesn’t even act like they know anything about the medical plans or anything. No point in asking questions because they just look at it the person and say can you take over I don’t know how to explain it. As HR personal you should know the benefits you should be able to answer our questions. Don’t get me started on the trainers they are a piece of work. They either ignore your questions or say we will talk about it later. I feel like I have learned anything and already being thrown on the phones. Very disappointed. You got to do something about training.

Pros

good money, great bennefits, own work cubicle and computer, free food

Cons

Customers verbally abuse you and you are told to just listen, even if that means you arent able to troubleshoot or keep the call as short as possible, helping individuals who are on average 80-90 years old work cell phones and are supposed to rush them and hurry through the call, get into trouble for asking someone to repeat themselves once, constant criticism and no recognition, poor training, management acts annoyed when you ask for help, you are told to listen to individuals that call in and are sexist and wont let you help them, get into trouble and talked to for waiting 10 minutes to speak at all, and then are told your talking over the customer when you waited for them to finally pause, will get into trouble with management for pausing for 5 secs to make sure customer is done talking. the work sucks, the pay and bennefits are the only positives, i often got frequent headaches from abusive customers screaming and insulting me constantly, everyday, one after the other.

Benefits, bonus, great people who work there (not management)

Cons

No overtime for supervisors and above. No incentive to promote could make more of I stepped down
