Pros

Leads and supervisors were very helpful, kind, and go out of their way to help. Long training period. Good benefits and fun co-workers.

Cons

Way too many rules (no spitting outside, no swearing around co-workers, sent home without pay if you pull out your phone). Strange closed-door meetings between supervisors on a daily basis. Promises made by managers never happened (mostly about implementing new things). Very strict attendance policies. Too much overtime (instead of just hiring the right amount of employees they force current staff to work on days off). Less than average pay and forced to meet quotas to get bonuses. Lots of conflicting information between departments.

Pros

Good pay for this area, competitive benefits, and lots of opportunities for growth, the company also offers monthly bonuses and give out other bonuses throughout the year. Cell phone plan at a reduced price.

Cons

Attendance policy and schedules does not allow for being a single parent, moving into management positions is more of a popularity contest then anything else. They do not offer Overtime to all staff only certain staffing areas, no exceptions even if you absolutely need it. They have onsite food but it is at a 25 - 35 % mark up of grocery stores, most companies would subsidize this not try to make a buck off their employees. The company claims to care about their employees but when it comes down to it "everyone is replaceable" just like any other job. In conclusion, if you don't mind dealing with nobody caring or being on your side and no flexibility in your work hours then the pay is great and they do offer benefits.

Pros

Its a job, thats it I cant think of anything else Its helps you pay the bills you do get benefits

Cons

1. management will get in to your daily life 2. Management will do anything to take the bonuses you might get away. For example if you fail a month for any reason ( Quality or Daily stats ). I have worked there just under a year and have seen this happen to 7 people. 3.It does not matter if you are in the hospital and can prove it. It goes against your attendance at the job. 4. you end up cleaning up other reps messes all the time. consumer Cellular is so about numbers and sales alot of reps take short cuts to meet numbers. If you have an issue I cant solve and go to a manager I hear things like I need to own the problem and solve it my self. 5. There is little or no accountability of management. It is always the regular employees how seem to have to solve every problem 6. And I saved my favorite for last. In an attempt to save money on paying out health insurance consumer cellular is forcing employees to jump through there hoops or Consumer cellular will stop paying for any health insurance benefits. For example they propose little contests all the time and we as employees are forced to participate to maintain our health insurance benefits
