Consumer Cellular has an amazing foundation of Senior Managers. Almost everyone starts out in customer service, but if you are willing to put in the time, there are plenty of opportunities to be promoted. Benefits package is comprehensive.

Cons

Truth be told, I really don't have any gripes about Consumer Cellular. However, I will echo others' reviews that the attendance policy and metrics are stringent during training period. That said, the expectations are understandable given the nature of the business.

Good entry level pay, great benefits 100% company paid (for self with completion of fitness goal every quarter), lots of room for advancement, great opportunites to challenge your personal and professional development, mentorship opportunites, awesome employee appreciation days monthly, competitive bonus structure, a sense of ownership is fostered in the workplace, team-based call-center environment but not your typical turn-and-burn phone room, values-based employer with a heart for the community and their workforce

Cons

Huge expansion into new office has diminished team support staff, accelerated multi-faceted training in sales, customer support and troubleshooting will overwhelm almost anyone at first, overwhelmed supervisors trickles down to support staff and can leave account advisors (entry-level) very frustrated when trying to get a resolution.
