The worst boss and HR I've ever had

Pros

Benefits like 401k, PTO, WFH, & health insurance

Cons

Now that I am beyond employed with this company, I can relay the experience I had. I was personally harassed by being nitpicked and undermining my intelligence. The manager who did this was new and took A LOT of credit for my work, going as far as having me create forms on ways to grow the department. As a remote worker- I then was shared to be problematic when I asked professional questions and/or spoke with others to get my questions answered. Often times, the manager would be MIA and was known to lie about their hours worked, lie about attending shows, specifically treating one employee in a favored manner. No one can go to HR, they are all close with managers and even while sharing evidence they don't care. You can be assaulted, and they would turn away and fire you. I had constant outbreaks, even as a top performer I felt like I was in fight mode for my job, being quiet and then getting in trouble for teams messaging a co-worker about job duties. The pay we were owed was ALWAYS wrong and still probably is. Often missing hundreds to thousands of dollars. Boss didn't know what he was doing or talking about with TECH when data was being pulled incorrectly- SO I eventually did this for him because he doesnt know anything about the duties. Not to forget, we were told last minute we weren't getting annual raises. Because we made base /commission? Former boss was quick to disclose your pay to other colleagues and then would lie about it, this caused SO much animosity it was awful. Im not confident this company is going to change, the reviews and open job listings say enough- Copart really needs to step it up because they don't hire leaders whom need to also be held accountable. They let the good ones get booted by managers who need to have their ego stroked. Having worked in many establishments with toxic workplaces, this is by far the worst.

Pros

Wonderful benefits, great pay at the general management level. Below that level... it's simply not worth the mental anguish.

Cons

Deceptive tactics for earning your bonus. Unqualified, regional and executive management in operations. If you enjoy being asked to complete pointless exercises and have mindless conferences calls there are plenty to go around. 36 hours worth of work to be done in the workday, and it was due yesterday. The company needs to develop specific specialized personnel for several very time consuming tasks. As of now far too much falls on the GM position.
