Pros

The Company continues to show growth and the potential for advancement, if the employee is willing to make many sacrifices.

Cons

Long hours, salaried personnel are not compensated in any way for the continuous extra hours required to adhere to unrealistic Company objectives. Male dominated culture.

Pros

Full time hours; pays on the better end of CSR, but not anywhere near the best. Benefits, but expensive.

Cons

Overwhelming amount of work with unreal expectation of completion. They refuse to hire enough people. No sense of camaraderie. Training is miserably matched to the job. Not enough training and supervision, so when it all falls apart, you're screwed. Unless you're big into playing team sports, Management looks down on you.

Do not join IT department under lady managers

Pros

You have a job till you find a new job

Cons

Do not join company if you are offered job under a lady manager in IT department. Because they are fickle minded, irresponsible, indecisive, bad at management, misinterprets communication, tries to play blame game by escaping their own responsibilities as a leader and hold their team member responsible for any sort of issue even if it is due to your leader not sharing information/deadlines/meeting outcomes with you. Lady Managers exploits company policy to fire employees. The strategy they use is reach out to project members with whom the employee haven't or least worked seeking NEGATIVE feedback ONLY against the employee. Upper management blindly trusts the managers, so whatever these ladies portrays to upper management is believed including fake or misrepresentation of facts or assumptions in their mind. This is not generalized on one instance but on multiple instances in company especially with BA & QA Lady managers. UTD students, CAUTION: Apart from development positions, there is no future for you in any other area in terms of learning or salary, so better don't try here. (Because almost all development teams are led by Male managers). Be prepared to hear this for any of your suggestions or issues you raise "This is how Copart works". Company makes no effort to retain their employees, as they don't need to because they don't have critical work in terms or business or technology. Almost everyone in the company (IT department), except family guys are waiting and trying to switch company including Developers.
