Pros

A lot of people there who care about the company and the employees. If under the right management you will have a good experience.

Cons

A big "operations" mentality throughout management and benefits are not very competitive.

Reverse discrimination IT department

Pros

Very few if any. Really any. Unless you're Indian born and have all opportunities because of your skin colour.

Cons

Racist environment. Only Indians have an opportunity. If you white or black this is not a company for you. Well they are not going to hire you, just forget about applying. White and black employees have been placed in positions where their only option is to quit.

Thanks for taking time to post. I wanted to take this opportunity to address your comments as Copart has a strong commitment to providing a workplace free of discrimination and harassment and we take it very seriously. By virtue of the fact we practice AGILE methodology, the process itself ensures that the performance of the teams and the individuals are evaluated on the work product during each sprint and by the success of the overall project. In a world of absolutes such as IT, the contribution of each individual is demonstrated daily through the life of the project. Managers regularly evaluate performance and provide feedback and coaching based on the work performed--promoting those who demonstrate high performance and deliver results. Regardless of location or job function, we strive to hire the absolute best talent in the market, screening candidates for their skills, experience, and background, then hiring the strongest players regardless of race, national origin, gender, age, or disability. We look for top performers who are capable of helping us continue to drive a high performance organization. For those reading this post who may be exploring Copart as a career choice, I can assure you that as a member of the Copart team you will be recognized for great work and for your contributions to the team. If you're GREAT at what you do, then PLEASE APPLY AND JOIN US. I would very much like to talk with you in greater detail as we do take this very seriously and invite you to contact me either via email at rory.seidens@copart.com or at my office directly at 972-391-5185.
