      Pros

      Peers/colleagues are great. Most are intelligent and are here for the right reasons. The software we sell is superior to what the competition offers.

      Cons

      Companies are consolidating and we don’t offer payroll so there is a value/market fit gap. In addition, new sales leadership is toxic. Unrealistic expectations (to the tune of 40%+ growth in q1 25 vs q1 24). They don’t truly have leaders (at any level) that know how to train, develop and retain employees. Morale is tanking and getting worse daily. We talk about the value of our product but we don’t walk our own walk anymore … and there have been no internal promotions in over a year. Adjusting commissions to be in line with company performance (reducing incentives for individual contributors)

      Thank you for sharing your feedback and I encourage you to share this with your manager/leader. Additionally, my door is open to you as well, please contact me directly to discuss further. With new leadership there does come changes, and the Sales organization is going through much change currently. Michael has been doing a lot of investment in development of the team while encouraging the team to sell in new and different ways. And a great data point to share is that in 2024 the AMER Sales organization had more promotions and internal movement than external hires - we need to do a better job of recognizing these great moments that matter.
