A Better Place for People to Work

Pros

The culture is what stands out the most for me. Every department is managed differently which allows for upcoming leaders to learn from various leadership styles. Despite the differences, the core values remain the same and the purpose of Cornerstone is fulfilled; "to provide a better place for people to work". In order to fit in at Cornerstone, you have to embrace the culture and continuously improve. We do not settle for mediocrity and excellence is what we stand for. It's not a good fit for everyone but for those that are willing to learn and go the extra mile, you'll look forward to walking in everyday and serving your colleagues and of course your customers.

Thank you for your 5-star review and positive comments. We are very proud of our corporate culture and work environment. Founder/Chairman Rick Rodell started this company because he wanted to “Provide A Better Place For People To Work”. That became our “Purpose Statement” from day 1 and supporting a healthy work/life balance is a large part of that. Events such as the Chili Cook-off contest, St. Patrick’s celebration, Cinco De Mayo festivities, Aloha Summer party, Senior Staff Grill and Chill, Halloween costume contest, Ugly Christmas Sweater contest, and more…are all important because we want the employees to know that they are appreciated. Thank you for taking time to post your review!

Racist Company

Pros

I love the amount of commission I bring home. This company is setup for Sales team to win BIG. My job is flexible and commission is great.

Cons

My girlfiend is a different race and she would not be welcomed to outside sales events. I have seen how they treat people of different races, they don't think they're worthy. They make racist jokes all the time, but I dont participate in them. My girlfriend had an interview, she got a bs reason why she wasn't hired. They hired someone who was not qualified to be in that position. H.R. told her about a lower level position. It sucks if you're a minority. There's no diversity and all of the executive positions are Caucasians - no diversity.
