Pros

The benefit package is the best I've ever seen. Commission & Bonuses structure is extremely rewarding! Amazing sense of community and culture as a whole. Not only are there growth opportunities but it doesn't take 5 years before someone in corporate recognizes your potential and helps you work towards your growth path. The company instills a sense of provide and trust in each and every position so that you do your job to it's full potential. I find myself genuinely excited to go to work everyday.

Cons

Nothing negative to say about this company!

DFW area not ideal

Pros

Great commission program allows you to recruit and keep top leasing consultants. Assistant Manager commissions/bonuses pale in comparison unfortunately unless they lease an apartment or two each pay period. Great training program too.

Cons

DFW leadership is spread too thin! Even with the acquisition of the Pure portfolio, the set up does not really make sense and does not allow enough time to work closely with an immediate supervisor to resolve issues. Company does require strong leaders on each site as the level of responsibility is high, but CMs should be able to have more than a once monthly 2 hour property walk/check in the a distractiocted AOM that is spread too thin. Also, while most of the regional leadership is fairly professional, one of the leaders cares too much about drinking, smoking and partying and it is a little embarrassing to see them intoxicated at team events while other leaders are not. Also, the DO already has his mind made up on everything and claims to be open to change/suggestion, but isnt really. Also, you will see this in so many reviews, but there is no work/life balance...truly. With so much company turnover, they are now claiming they have an associate focus and will put associates first....but the residents are always first priority at all costs.

Hi, there! We love hearing that you love our training program as much as we do. Developing best-in-class associates coupled with our commission structure is just one of the many ways that we provide for our onsite associates – the ones who create unparalleled living experiences for our residents. We know the acquisition of the Pure portfolio cause a few growing pains, but we’re swiftly working through them. If you have ideas or suggestions on what can be done to make your associate experience better, we encourage you to reach out to your Director of Operations or Talent Resources so that we can better support you, your team, and your community!

Hello, there! We’re happy to hear that you love our culture as much as we do – and we’re sad to see you go. Sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic is never fun, but with our latest commuting initiatives, you can opt out of a hectic commute by riding MARTA, carpooling, or biking. If you ever miss being a Cortlandian, you’re always part of the family! – Ashley Gordon, VP of Talent Acquisition
