Pros

It’s nice to work for a company with strong brand recognition. Corvias is an established and respected leader in military housing and a growing, start-up like company in the campus housing market. This is a great company for someone who likes to innovate, create and collaborate. You’re given an opportunity to help build something and make your mark and that’s why I chose to accept the offer. Incredibly dynamic leadership team – everyone is down to earth and approachable – no pretense. People seem to be happy working here. Everyone is very friendly and professional. There’s a lot of laughing and having personal conversations with colleagues is acceptable here unlike some other companies I’ve worked for. They bring in an amazing lunch every week (including dessert!) and have a stocked kitchen with beverages, snacks and fresh fruit deliveries twice a week. No shortage of office supplies either. Corvias Foundation gives back to the community in a big way which is fun to talk about with friends.

Cons

I’m still fairly new and don’t see a downside. Everyone has a different opinion based on their priorities, experiences and values. I feel I’ve made the right choice for me.
