Pros

Salary is competitive, if not higher than, with other companies. The 401k is great along with the other benefits, but some of the locations are pretty remote. The coworkers are generally nice and it can be a fun place to work with a lot of employee activities. The severance packages are decent, if they let you go. The company has a great mission and gives back to the military families and communities.

Cons

I worked for the company while it was in flux. It was changing names, leadership and direction. I can’t speak to how the “good old days” were or how bright the future will be, I only have my experience from a time of uncertainty. Employees were kept in the dark for months about the company reorganization. We knew it was coming, but that was all. Morale sank and rumors floated. The reorganization stretched out over two months culminating with all of the layoffs happening on the same day. The company struggles to plan for the future. It undertakes costly projects that aren’t necessarily needed, like apartments for single soldiers, and that may struggle to be successful. Additionally the company did not plan well for the troop and budget cuts as combat operations draw to a close.

Pros

Great co- workers that work very well together always pitching in for one another. Life a family in the neighborhood level.

Cons

Upper management horrible. CMD incompetent that basis decisions on rumors. Where it should be business decisions the CMD makes it personal.

Pros

Great benefit package, co workers are fun to work with, everyone is a hard worker, family feel and lists of support from co workers. The company has lots if meeting about where the company is headed in the future.

Cons

You will earn great reviews, kudos, bonuses but no promotion. The company is always reorganizing and expanding and looking for new talent.
